I am so excited about my newly launched blog, Donna Loves Shoes. This is the first of many influencer crushes that I will be blogging about in my segment called, Crush Corner, which are my fashion crushes on other influencers, brands, and designers. I just started walking the Red Carpet and I struck gold today with these three fabulous influencers. If the Crush Corner is going to be like this, my followers are in for a hell of a ride!
This month’s crushes are @thechiccitygirl, @sylvadoll, and last but certainly not least @annamaria.1901 having me screaming with OMG! moments. These women are the perfect example I can give to any shopper about ‘having an eye for style’. If you don’t have an eye for style, take some notes from these influencers and how they express themselves through fashion. I have an eye but I’m still in love with all of their styles because even though they are alike when it comes to fashion charisma, they are all very different.
I struck gold today with these three fabulous influencers.
@thechiccitygirl, I call her Ms. Brenda, the things she does with so much color, her sunglasses, earrings, shoes and mixing of the patterns. She has handbags up the yang and always has some grown woman pose that speaks to her confidence. I get the feeling from her facial expressions that she is always speaking directly to me with her fashions, saying. You feel me!!! Oh, yes I feel you!!!
@sylvadoll, not only does her style speak to me. her smile is her most outstanding accessory for her sassy fashion looks. Yes, it’s a total package that caught my eye. I love how she takes time to post a quote or words of wisdom using a design factor that gives her post captions a fashion statement. Another fashion shout-out is the sex appeal of black and white photos. She has layers that I like and can pivot from color to black and white in a heartbeat. This says a lot about her style. She travels in several lanes when it comes to how she dresses. I like that!
@annamaria.1901 is the first person since I got into this Instagram game that I can literally say I love every outfit in every one of her posts. Scarves, midi/mini/maxi dresses, swimwear, coats, sunglasses, hats, shoes, and the casual ways she appears to move through her posting game. I’m having fun!!! I constantly get ‘where did you get that’ and it’s because I grew up around women who dress like Annamaria. Her poses are just enough to be cool and sassy because the outfit is doing all the talking.
Annamaria is a testament to us baby boomers that still got it going on.

When I got the gist of this Influencer game, I thought oh hell no! I just found my second act in life. Hosting a blog will allow me to bring you all the goodies that I know about shoes.
