Calling all Shoe Lovers! it’s almost that time again. Time to put the boots and winter shoes away and bring out your spring flings.

If you live in a place where seasonal weather will give you some guidance as to when it’s time to switch out your footwear. Or you may be like some folks that don’t have seasons and the weather either go from cold to colder or warm to warmer. Listen Up!

If you are the latter the strategy is, to wear what you want each day. Do your own thing and set your own fashion trends!

If you are like me and have a lot of boots and shoes finding a spot or knowing when to switch them out calls for creative measures.

All my new purchases in the last few years get stored in their original boxes which is cool and saves time when I’m looking for something to wear because the brand lists the name and sometimes shows a picture outside the box. But I also have shoes that no longer have their own boxes because I’ve had them for so long, move from house to apartment, and purchase them from a consignment, vintage, or thrift store.

How I switch out and store my shoe is strategic. Yes, I have a plan because I no longer have the space since I now live in an apartment. A switch out is a must because I only have so much space.

My storage space strategy includes the back of doors, under the bed & dressers, clothes/designated closets, and the storage space in my apartment building that I pay a monthly fee for.

Here are just a few shoe and boot container styles that are my favorites

  • Boot Racks
  • Under-bed boot & shoe bags
  • Hanging shoe organizers
  • 24 pocket over the door shoe bags
  • Clear shoebox with lids
  • X-Large drop-front shoe box cases

The list goes on and on. Just visit @amazon and @containerstore websites and let your finger do the clicking. PROBLEM SOLVED!

Remember folks there is maintenance that goes along with owning shoes and boots so they can last and look good from year to year. TREAT THEM LIKE YOU LOVE THEM!!!
